The US Chamber of Commerce has published a Small Business Guide with suggested resources and best practices. Government Assistance

 

Various lending options are available depending on your needs and timing. We encourage you to research your options.

 

NEW President Trump signed the Paycheck Protection Program Flex Act in early June, giving loan recipients more flexibility in how they allocate and pay their loans. Forbes has provided a general overview of the flexibility. Click HERE to read their article and for links to the program.

 

The SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program is a 100% federally backed small business loan program established by the CARES Act. Funds from the loan may be used for a variety of purposes including payroll costs, rent, mortgage interest or utilities. Click HERE to get more information on the program.

The SBA’s Disaster Loan Assistance program is another federally back small business loan program. Funds from the loan may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills. Click HERE to get more information on the program.

The Federal Reserve Board recently announced it is expanding the scope and eligibility for the Main Street Lending Program. As part of its broad effort to support the economy, the Federal Reserve developed the Main Street Lending Program to help credit flow to small and medium-sized businesses that were in sound financial condition before the pandemic. The SBA’s Express Bridge Loan may help your business bridge a time gap by providing a short term loan while you are applying or waiting for your application to be approved for other disaster relief programs. The Express Bridge loan program allows SBA Express lenders to provide expedited financing to small businesses located in declared disaster areas. Express Bridge loans are intended to be interim loans. Businesses use these funds for disaster-related purposes while they apply for and await long-term financing.
