Urban Edge Properties acquires retail properties with the potential for lease up, expansion and redevelopment in high barrier-to-entry markets. We acquire larger grocery-anchored centers, neighborhood centers, community centers, lifestyle centers and street retail. We pursue assets within our selected target markets (indicated below) and prefer assets located in established retail corridors. We are focused on working with sellers to understand their priorities and partnering to meet their financial and estate planning objectives. We can creatively structure transactions (including issuing OP units to create a tax deferred structure) as well as assume existing loans if needed to provide sellers with best execution.
